Filthy, unsafe, and dilapidated
We booked this hotel on the coast to extend our family vacation and specifically booked it for the pool. After check in, which was friendly enough, we went to our room. To say that this property is in disrepair is an understatement. The bar and restaurant are permanently closed. Our room did not have a workable lock on the door or the slider - there was a note to use a stick in the slider to lock it. The fireplace in the room did not work. The baseboards and walls were filthy. The pool was moldy - including photos here. There was an outdoor fire pit that we were told did not work anymore although there was a full propane tank hooked up to it. There is a walkway down to the beach that is roped off with faded signs - when you inspect further you will note that the walkway has fallen onto the beach.
Online there are notes that the property will be demolished so they are not doing any upkeep on it - some sites say October 2024 and others March 2025 - we stayed in July of 2025 and there was no demo started. My question is why do they choose to keep renting out a dilapidated property with false advertising online? The photos pictured were nothing like what actually existed. We also paid 170$ for this room for one night when I could find it for 90$ after check in on other sites. We could have stayed on the coast with no pool and a clean, safe room for much cheaper.
Do not waste your money on this dirty, unsafe establishment. I would like to request a refund.
