Surprisingly Average

The reception staff were excellent......welcoming, polite and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The room (in the Mews) was average and smelt of marijuana. Breakfast was poor quality and average at best. The breakfast room was noisy with crying babies and kids blocking the aisles. Not a relaxing experience at all. Coffee was machine coffee, but that was actually ok. A member of the bar staff ignored us as we approached the bar, he was filling up some bottles or something, he looked up, didn't acknowledge us and continued with what he was doing, then he eventually looked up and finally mumbled something - here's a tip buddy........serve your guests first, that's what you're there for. Thankfully a more sensible young lady arrived and served us. We will not be returning I'm afraid.

Beautiful looking hotel with plenty of space and facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. Great choice of eating places, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our 8 year old grandson loved the indoor swimming pool and we all had a fabulous stay.

Very nice property with 2 golf courses, and spa treatments. Both courses very good. Staff very responsive and brought a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to our room as part of our celebrations which was a very nice touch. The room toiletries were very nice. Room a little warm. Beautiful grounds and good food in restaurant

the room at the 4/f is half size of the normal room size, we even cant fully standing up at the shower area. room is super hot under and no much air flow even we fully open the window. a bit disappointed. but the area is very nice, quiet and beautiful.

Well it is 2am snd yet to sleep. The bed is horrible the room is so hot. The window barely opens -holding it open with a coffee mug The grounds are beautiful- too bad the hotel has been run poorly and into the ground Ps if you have a CPAP No plugs beside bed - NOT WORTH IT

Great place to relax and enjoy some luxury

We were working in Deby and wanted a treat for the next day. Booked it for the spa and beautiful surroundings. I was very happy that we were permitted to use the facilities after the checkout as the night before was a very late finish so we didn't have dinner and was exhausted and hungry in the morning. The breakfast spread was amazing, we had a slow morning and were very grateful for the 12 pm checkout and opportunity to relax in the spa after.

We will definitely return

We had a wonderful 1 night stay, the perfect retreat. We arrived early, had a lovely walk through the gardens and past into a wooded area. Then we were able to use the leisure facilities until our room was ready. The room was clean with everything we needed. We had a deluxe king riom and the bed was huge and very comfortable. We booked for dinner in the evening and we couldn't have enjoyed the food more, it was delicious! Highly recommended the stone bass! We had back massages the following morning which was the perfect end to our stay. The service from start to finish was faultless, with every member of staff we met being polite and ready to help if needed. We shall definitely return.
