Nice property but rough check-in

VRBO had to intervene to get the check in information for this property. A few hours prior to arrival and still no info. I had booked a few days before and sent the owner a request the morning of check in and phone him.... no responses until a few hours later, when I had contacted VRBO customer service for a second time. That was nerve-wracking and I'm grateful that VRBO was professional and helpful. The house is as advertised and was very spacious with modern amenities. The garage is not accessible to renters. The house was reasonably clean, but not very clean. The owner of their representative came by twice to add water to the pool, without advising in advance. Not great to see a stranger in the back yard twice and for considerable periods of time. Also, the owner of their rep was out front of the house watching the departure and took off while I was getting in to my car. I guess in today's society I've gotten used to things being "different, " so I'll still say the house is a good quiet location and plenty of room to relax. Everything worked well and you have all the amenities of home. The large bedrooms and bathrooms were a plus.

Excellent property and very helpful owner

Our family had a lot of fun staying at this property over the Christmas break. Desert Hot Springs like sort of midway between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree so good place to explore lots of places within a 30 mile radius. The owner David is very communicative and helpful. We definitely look forward to staying here again.

Big and comfortable

Nice, big house. Comfortable beds and big kitchen. Loved the patio and back yard for sitting outside. Neighbors are quiet and when they did have get togethers they were not too loud and stopped by 11 pm.
