I stayed at the British Colonial on a recent business trip and I have nothing but good things to say about the property. It’s well located and the rooms are comfortable. The gym is decent too. Food is a little on the pricey side, but this being The Bahamas, that’s to be expected.

Fantastic staff. Hotel is beautifully maintained. Close to old San Juan shopping and tourism! We loved our stay.

We stayed at The Cove and loved the high ceilings, beautiful balcony with two chairs and a table, huge marble bathroom, gorgeous beaches and swimming pools!

Water park, nice place

Very good location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The property has a beautiful, old world colonial style. My main disappointment is they advertised having a gym and a steam room, but both are closed indefinitely so the hotel Polacio SHOULD make this known to all potential guests before booking. I always look for hotels with some kind of gym facility, so their blatant dishonesty was not appreciated. Overall it has a really nice old world charm, central location and friendly staff and so I do recommend it.
