Compare Cheap Hotels in County Cavan

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The downsides were the temperature in the room, it was too hot (even when the rage at was off) and the windows hardly opened. The area around the property had a cafe and supermarket but it wasn’t too safe with some sketchy people around and people yelling at us from their cars as they drove by. Won’t be staying here again.

I love this hotel and have been coming here for years. It's friendly, unpretentious and overtly local. Parking is free and plentiful. Plus breakfast is ace and included.

Check-in was easy and the young man at the desk (i did not catch his name) was super welcoming and when asked he gave us an excellent recommendation for the following day. Other staff were great at breakfast as well. The room was clean, well stocked with towels. Not a problem for us but the room had no safe which could be an issue for some. My only problem was that there was no air in the room and it was very stuffy. A notice on the desk warned about not opening the windows at night to avoid insects coming it. There was a fan in the closet so I used that so I could sleep.

It was an acceptable accommodation. Rooms were clean and the area felt safe.

We did enjoy our stay at this hotel. Breakfast was delicious. We had two evening meals during our stay. One was in steak restaurant which was superb. definitely five star the other was in. The Maxwell grill which I did not enjoy. The pool area in this hotel is very relaxing plenty of room to lounge and spa area is amazing. You also have really nice grounds if you want to walk we did have a couple of issues which the management put right for us immediately When we made them aware of our issues which made us feel our stay of our important to them because of that I would definitelygo back..
