All the staff were very friendly and most helpful

Big and airy room was ideal for a relaxed stay. I doubted the advice of the chap at reception on the restaurant getting very busy but he was absolutely correct so I was pleased to get a table for some very decent pub grub. Nice breakfast too.

Beautiful property, well furnished rooms with friendly & helpful staff. While I would fully recommend the property, it was disappointing to turn up and find no availability at the spa despite staying three nights/four days. Also, the hotel added on a service charge of £10/day on checkout despite having already paid a 12.5% service charge in the restaurants & bars (which made up 100% of our bill given we had pre-paid). The option is there to take the service charge off but in my view, it is not a comfortable checkout experience.

Superb place for a stay, food excellent

The Duke is kept spotless, our room was immaculate! The staff were attentive and helpful. The menus offer a good selection with vegetarian food and non-alcoholic drink options too. The patio was a nice spot for a drink!
