Maldives accommodation with pool

Clean great staff wonderful breakfast!

Property is adjacent to the water ferry terminal. This is convenient if you will be using the ferries. However, it is very noisy if you are if try to relax or sleep. In addition, the road in front of the property is torn up and construction equipment appears to be working most of the day and evening. Hopefully that will be transitory but currently it is in the middle stage of the process.

Stunning hotel, very family friendly. My kids (age 6 and 10) both loved the kids club, which was very clean and staff were all lovely. So much to do on the island from bowling/arcade to go karting. Spa had a nice atmosphere with lovely treatment rooms with the sound of crashing waves, but it wasn't the best massage I ever had. Service at the restaurants was a little disappointing but the buffet restaurant had good food options for breakfast. One thing thy need to improve is having better kids options and ice cream as part of the buffet. For the price being charged, it didn't always represent great value for money. We did B&B, tried all the restaurants and then went half board for the last few days. Lunch by the pool was better value for money and the Deli had great coffee/milkshakes/protein shakes which we all enjoyed. My biggest frustration was lack of communication from staff. This started before I arrived when I was trying to book internal flights, and when we were leaving, they didn't tell us our internal transfer flight time had been changed. There was also a lack of communication around events happening around the resort that were not advertised on the Kandima App. Transfer time for internal flight was incorrect, fliht was at least 50 mins and boat transfer 45 mins with mini Bus in between. The hotel overall was amazing, and I would happily go back, but just hope they improve their communication so the whole experience is a lot less stressful.

This hotel is very nice. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean, the restaurant was surprisingly good. Free transport from the airport was seamless. Male, on the other hand, was good for a 2-hour stop (max). So if you arrive to the Maldives later in the day, this is a wonderful place to stay. If not, I would just spend your time on the other islands.

We had a great time at the Hard Rock Hotel!

Nice resort 1 hour speedboat from Male. Main reason we stayed here was for snorkelling on the house reef which was pretty good, heaps of fish, sharks, rays, octopus and turtles, however the coral is not as healthy as other resorts we have stayed at. Food was good, especially at The Grill. All inclusive drinks list suited us. Staff were excellent and very attentive and spoilt me on my birthday. We had a beach bungalow which was comfortable with great shower, comfortable bed and close to the main restaurant and bar. Overwater bungalows looked good too. Good resort if you don’t want to fly out of Male.
