Unbelievable view of the fjord right from our room’s window. Very nice and helpful staff. Convenient parking just outside the hotel. Great hikes in the vicinity including waterfall, where you can actually get behind the waterfall itself. You can ask the staff how to get there. Would come back here anytime!

Sauna is the best

The Grand Hotel was one of my favorite hotels in Norway. The staff members were all friendly and welcoming. The facilities were clean and sufficient. The breakfast was wonderful, and I enjoyed a wide variety of hot and cold items. I am grateful for that! The hotel is very close to the train station and is located downtown, right beside the cable car. Everything is within walking distance, including a couple of food markets and a gas station. There is also a small gym in the hotel. I enjoyed the historical photos on each floor, telling the story of the hotel and its guests. I would absolutely stay here again!
