Tonga ski resorts

The hotel was an excellent base for a business trip to Tonga. Internet was good, walkable to downtown, great views, attentive staff and a restaurant open on Sunday

Staff were excellent with good local knowledge. AC for the rooms kept them at a comfortable temperature. The chef produces excellent food – some of the best available.

Clean property, very nice, I really like the AC in the hotel rooms, and the comfortable beds that help you sleep right away. Everything was amazing.

The online photos are not what you get when you arrive. Simon's Place is more of a motel. For the price it might be what you can expect. The rooms are very outdated, no TV, no chair to sit on, the mattress is old and not comfortable. Windows are slat windows and not secure. Lock on the door is not going to keep anyone out. No safe to put your belongings in. Breakfast was toast and juice with some fruit. With that said, we did enjoy our time and the staff were friendly. I would hope they staff would update their online photos and be more truthful of what you will experience.

The Pool was the best part of the hotel. Food options are limited. Amenities are also limited and it is not worth the money. However it’s the only option for most.
