Good weekend

It was a great stay for a weekend. Only complaint was the pot smell on the elevator but that wasn’t the hotels fault. Amazing breakfast

Had a name mix up at check in and the young man on duty got it straightened right out. Very polite, very professional. They appear to be understaffed as this young man was cooking in the restaurant, answering phones and handling customers at the front desk.

Booked a room so that my 12 year old daughter could swim for her birthday. Prior to booking, I called to make sure pool was available. I was told it would be open so I booked the room. On the day of checking in, came down that evening and was told pool was closed and would open up Saturday morning. Well Saturday came and was told they were waiting on a contractor to come out to fix the pool. I booked this room just for the pool, so imagine my frustrations. They were not transparent with me and were only interested in getting me to book a room. I asked to be refunded based on misleading information but they stated their cancellation policy. That definitely didn’t fit my situation but there was nothing else I could do. Never staying there again and definitely won’t get any recommendations from me.

Overall very nice and I would stay here again. We had a couple issues (door handle was janky and the tv remote didn’t work and needed to be switched out) but the room was very spacious and comfy/clean. The pool however looked directly out of a low budget hotel. Heat was broken in the room itself so it was freezing when you got in or out of the pool, it was not clean around the pool (literally a pipe sticks out?!) and the towels were the size of a hand towel.. So if you’re going for the pool I’d say pass, but everything else was really good.
