It was nice and spacious. However you’re pretty much on your own for any service. There were two bath towels for three of us. We asked for three days for more and never got a third towel. The tv and Roku remotes didn’t work. Nobody was available so you couldn’t watch tv. They probably just need batteries. The desk guy is there sometimes but really doesn’t do anything. The location was great. The people mover is free and it’s a couple hundred feet from your door.

This was a great spot for our family of 5. Clean, comfortable, in a great location. Even though they do not offer parking onsite, there is plenty of pay lots around, or I opted to park free over at MGM Casino, with about 7 minute walk back to property. Will definitely recommend this property & stay again.

Place was nice, had all the amenities. We were able to check in a little early. Was bummed we couldn’t get all the window blinds to open all the way, since it was such a nice view. Lots of room inside the apartment. Will definitely stay here again

I was very happy with my stay at Sonder. The location was great; walkable distance to everything I wanted to see. Having all the amenities of a studio apartment really helped me to save money by being able to cook and store food. The only slight complaint is that it could have been a little bit cleaner; but I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Detroit!

Nice place to stay, especially if you want to walk to a Tigers or Lions game. The staff I met were very nice and I would stay here again. The only issue we had was the Roku tv wouldn't work, which seemed to be something that is not uncommon. Fortunately for us we didn't spend much time in the room, so it wasn't too big a deal.

I seldom write reviews, but my stay at the Sonder was so terrible that I had to share it. While the apartment was clean and check-in was relatively easy, the walls were paper-thin, which means you could hear everything outside. Unfortunately the night I was there there was a group of drunk people arguing, screaming and slamming doors intermittently between 1 am and 3 am. Security did respond after I called, only to knock loudly on someone's door and yell 'You're going to be evicted if you don't stop screaming'. Cops should've been called. I later found out a work colleague had a very similar experience a few weeks ago. The guy at the front desk was very nonchalant about the 'yelling' when I mentioned it to him the next morning. Sounds like maybe this happens frequently. Avoid this place.

We stay at the Sonder most times we visit Detroit. It's walkable to everything in downtown, Corktown, and Midtown, and the rooms are spacious and have nice amenities. It's a good value compared to the nearby hotels.

Cant say that I would want to stay here again. Heard arguments from down the hall and another co-worker that was staying at the same hotel said the same. Not really worth the money. Spend a little more and go to the Westin.

BED BUGS. NIGHTMARE

BED BUGS FOUND ON COUCH BED!!!! HOTELS.COM WILL REFUSE TO GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK FOR BED. BUGS. my friends and I were horrified and left to drive hours home at 2am because of this. Absolute nightmare. The sheets to the main bed were also stained

My second time staying at this Sonder location. First time staying in a 2 bedroom apartment. Not much to complain about here. Property is in the heart of downtown 15 minute walk to Pistons game (Little Ceasers Arena). While there were no onsite food options (besides couple vending machines) there are plenty of options within 1 to 4 blocks. We had dinner at nice upscale soul food establishment and Steak house both one block away and there were plenty of other options. MGM (casino) 10 minute walk. Only cons (if you can call it that): - No daily room service….if you really want that - Heating and cooling mini splits filters could use a cleaning. - Bedrooms (at least in this unit) did not have any windows. - Bedrooms did not have any TV's, there is one in the living room. - There is quite a bit of homeless in the area asking for change but never felt unsafe.

Great location with many restaurants, bars and markets within walking distance. Airport shuttle bus located just across the street from the building. Staff was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely consider staying here again, when I visit Detroit.

Found bed bugs in the hotel room on the pull out couch. Also had sheets with strange stains on them. Hotels.com is refusing to give me a refund. BEWARE
