I stayed here with my family for two nights and had certain expectations, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing.
Check-in was just okay. I had to wait a few minutes before someone came to the desk, and when they did, they stayed on the phone while checking me in. While the staff member was friendly, it didn’t feel professional. The same thing happened the following evening when I went to ask for towels — the associate remained on the phone the entire time.
Housekeeping & Amenities:
We were expecting room service during our two-night stay, but it never happened. No one explained the housekeeping policy, so when we returned from being out, we needed to request towels ourselves. With a family, this was inconvenient. Additionally, the TV froze on the first day and never worked. I asked for help twice at the front desk, but nothing was done. Not being able to use the TV with kids in the room was frustrating.
Checkout & Follow-up
At checkout, I explained the issues to the front desk. The staff assured me someone would follow up, but no one ever did.
Overall As someone who has stayed at Marriott properties before (including across the street at Residence Inn, where I’ve had great experiences), I regret choosing SpringHill Suites this time. The lack of professionalism, poor communication about services, and unresolved issues made this stay fall short of expectations. (P.S - I am a former Elite Marriott member who has stayed at numerous Marriott properties)
