The Lodge was very rustic in decor but modern with the amenities that help make a stay away from home comfortable. The room, including the bathroom, was clean, the beds were comfortable, the linens provided were sufficient. The coffee maker was a bit lacking since it leaked all over the table. But we were most appreciative of the complimentary bottles of water provided. I don't know if this was true of other rooms, but our thermostat was set on a "cool" setting of 67 which meant that was the warmest the temp could get in the room before the A/C kicked on. Since it was still rather chilly thru the nights during our stay, our actual room temp got down to 62, and we had to rely on using the (electric) fireplace to take the chill off first thing in the morning since we (understandably) weren't supposed to run it while we were sleeping. The check in/customer service desk was actually part of the gift shop and zoo entrance, and the staff there was extremely friendly and helpful. The Lodge even has pet friendly options for those requiring that. Many area activities and attractions are within a decent distance thru the lovely countryside.

Loved the room, courteous staff and wide selection of breakfast items. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Breakfast was near to non-existent and low quality and not what we've come to expect from this brand.

Everything was perfect

Filthy room. Urine and pubic hair on the toilet. Bed was hard as a rock. Felt dirty.
