The room advertised and what is there is deceiving. I would rather you show me a picture of a very small cabin and say its a small cabin with heating and running water. Let me know it is walking distance to the restaurant and the lake and picnic tables and a much better stay than a tent but at-least ill know what im taking my family to. I decided to go home and lost my money for that night but ut was a nice 3 plus hour drive for a lakeside picnic. Not all was a loss.

This place is beautiful. Jaime at the front desk was super personable and gave us a lot of good info about the area. We will be back.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at King’s Cabin in Shaver Lake. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. The cabin has a cozy, home-like feel while still giving you that peaceful mountain getaway vibe.The location is beautiful and quiet, surrounded by nature, which made it perfect for relaxing and spending quality time away from everyday stress. We really enjoyed the fresh air, the scenery, and how peaceful the whole area felt. It’s the kind of place where you can truly slow down and unwind.The cabin itself was very comfortable and well maintained. It had everything we needed for our stay, and you can tell the hosts put effort into making guests feel at home. Everything was organized and easy to access, which made our trip smooth and enjoyable.Communication with the host was also great—friendly, responsive, and helpful, which made the whole experience even better.Overall, this was a perfect getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend King’s Cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Shaver Lake.
