My roommate and I were extremely disappointed with our stay. Upon arrival, the property was dirty the sheets and floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned, and there was trash left behind. The cleaning was so poor that we found an acrylic nail, dirty socks, and even weed on the ground. It was obvious the unit had either not been cleaned before our visit or had been cleaned very poorly.The property description is misleading. The video shown online makes it appear much nicer than its current condition. When I made a simple request to have the place cleaned, the host became defensive, accused us of being too picky, and even suggested we move out.Another major issue was the overwhelming smell of marijuana coming from upstairs. Whoever was smoking started as early as 6 a.m. and continued again later in the evening, making the odor unavoidable.At the end of our stay, we were hit with charges we had no say in including damages to sheets we never used (we brought our own), claims of a dirty property (we had cleaned exactly as instructed), and missing pillows we never touched. The only remotely valid charge was possibly a few oil spots on the driveway.Overall, the reviews for this property seem outdated and do not reflect its present state. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.
