Comfy but need upgrades

Comfortable bed and clean but outdated. The shower has no pressure and temperature fluctuated. Breakfast was standard continental.

There were some issues when we arrived. They wouldn’t let us check in a few minutes before 4pm. And when we got into our room it smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. Calling down to the front desk was also a challenge as they put me on hold and didn’t come back to the call. Luckily, when I went down to the desk and told them about the smelly room, they quickly rectified the situation by checking us into an alternate room. Staff agreed the original room had a very strong smell of smoke - even though the whole property is supposed to be smoke free. We appreciated the efforts to fix the issue promptly. Hotel cleaning staff was friendly as well.

We really liked the Quality Hotel, the rooms were nice, it was clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, close to lots of things. The pillows were bulky, but the beds were comfortable! The only thing was 1 of the 2 elevators was really banging and clunky, mentioned it to front staff. There was a posted sign that everything was safe, checked, and maintained but that was a big thing I didn’t like!
