Close to the city centre, shopping, and tourist pubs. We had a room booked for three and it was small and hard to manoeuvre with others in the room. The bathroom was very small and very little room if you needed to use the toilet. Several fights in the ally amongst local residents throughout the night.

Perfectly located in Temple Bar district. Walk ability very high. Not the quietest location, and was a little stuffy temperature wise. The fan was helpful for both. Beautifully decorated. Friendly staff.

Let Down in Temple Bar

We were a bit disappointed with this stay. Despite spending a lot for one night, we had a cramped, hot room. The double bed was truly the European double size - the equivalent of a US full, which is not inconsistent with how it was advertised. But you do actually usually get bigger with a European double. The worst aspect was that we were given an ADA handicap-accessible room, which we had not requested. This meant that the bathroom was excessively huge, likely cannibalizing the bedroom space. It had an open shower that did not drain properly, causing a build-up of stick, slippery muck all over the bathroom floor. It was disgusting. No ventilation in the bathroom either, which became an oven. Other issues were the noise on the street which was not surprising given we requested a street view (but a problem when you leave windows open at night for ventilation), plus the restaurant was really disappointing in terms of both service time and the food quality. The lobby decor is lovely land the build certainly has character and charm, but we look elsewhere next time. Chocolates in the room were a nice touch.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful location. Step out the door and you were in Temple bar. Incredibly convenient. Staff was very friendly and rooms are very clean, but small. The lobby is beautiful. The roasted chicken in the restaurant was delicious.

Our stay was amazing! Adorable hotel in a great neighborhood location with a local market and shopping. Comfy beds and fan on hand to help with air flow since there is no AC.

Great hotel and perfect location

The Fleet is a great hotel. Lovely staff, very comfortable room and the breakfast was excellent. The location is in Temple bar, close to transport, shopping and restaurants. I only stayed one night as i was on my way to a wedding. It was my first time in Dublin and i will certainly be back to that great city and will stay in The Fleet.

Be prepared to be in the centre of tourist central if you book this hotel. Rooms on the front are VERY noisy, especially on weekend nights (to 2 am on Saturday). Also, only some parts of the hotel are air conditioned. My room on the front of the building got up to 27 degrees C. There was a fan, but still—not very comfortable. On the up side, the hotel is in easy walking distance of oodles of restaurants, and actually has a cafe itself for a super easy option. The breakfast is EXCELLENT—lots of choice, and hot food very fresh. The lobby is really nice—a pleasant place to gather at the end of the day. And for the most part the staff were lovely.

Great location

I chose the fleet for its location close to Temple Bar. It was a very walkable distance, and even though it was so close, the noise level was not intolerable. However, late night revealers could be heard in the alleyways. Also, very good and popular pub directly next-door.
