DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PROPERTY!! Despite reserving and paying for this room through Expedia, I was charged in full by the hotel upon arrival. We did not have anywhere else to stay, so we were put into a corner. The reception desk encouraged us to reach out to Expedia to resolve the situation but both Expedia and the hotel were unhelpful in resolving this issue. The hotel apparently will not respond to Expedia or acknowledge that they have charged my account twice for the stay. Still disputing this issue with no resolve. As for the room, the shower water was scorching. Despite moving around the faucet settings, the water was unbearably hot. We called the reception desk to inquire about them taking a look at the faucet but they never came. We checked in with them again, they assured us that there was a “boiler” issue and the shower would “cool off.” Obviously, this was not the issue as the sink water temperature was just fine. The woman at the reception the next morning even acknowledged that this other individual at reception the night before did not tell the truth and the room had been experiencing this same issue for weeks.

If you want to experience the city up close and personal with a mix of comfortable accommodations smack dab in the middle of everything - look no further than the Wellington. Very hospitable staff, tons of things to do right there, clean, comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here before. It is in the most touristy place in Dublin, great city centre location for food, music and nightlife. Staff were helpful and gave me a quiet room. Nice facilities in room include TV, desk, iron,tea and coffee maker, cookies and safe. Hotel is quite new and it’s nicely designed with LED lighting in the shower room.

A great located hotel right in the center of temple bar. Very friendly staff. Well appointed compact room with kettle ironing board etc. the shower was great but no door meant flooding the bathroom floor but I got adept at angling the shower head I had an issue with the window blinds (which are inside the window) as the controls were no working and meant the blind couldn’t be lowered or raised so early wake up call when the sun shone Maintenance couldn’t fix it so went unresolved for 2 days Apart from this issue I would book and stay again

If you want to walk around Dublin to experience the sights, cafes, restaurants, bars, then this is the hotel to stay in. Perfect location! The staff were all friendly with excellent customer service. Rooms were clean and bright. Bathroom on the small side in the three single bed room but it was fine for three nights. Bar downstairs is great with live music too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, thank you.

Wellington hotel stay

Excellent stay, all staff are so friendly and helpful. Daughter flew into Dublin and arrived at the hotel early morning and the manager was very accomodating to get her into the room early. Another member of staff helped with the safe in the room. Hotel is in a very convient area and room was great.

It was so noisy, all night were there people slamming doors, not sure if it had to do with remodeling of the hotel but gosh it was so noisy. The bar music wasn’t actually bad as far as noise like the slamming of doors. Also, the girl on the front desk was so rude. She had an attitude the whole time Will not recommend staying there unless you are planning on not getting any test.
