We had a really lovely stay it was nice and clean definitely would stay here again!!! The staff was lovely!!! Location was prime and it was actually quiet for being so close to Temple bar.

Bit run down, dorm vibe rather than hotel vibe

Felt more like a dorm room than a reasonably expensive hotel room. Concrete floor, bit of a 70s vibe. Also felt like maintenance costs were being restricted - lamp didn't work, heated towel rack didn't work, water leakage inside wall creating wood swelling around the door. Unfortunately also construction on a massive high rise tower outside our window that will be ongoing for a long time. On the positive side, staff were friendly and location was good. We had booked a second stay at Zanzibar but decided to cancel and book elsewhere.

Straightforward accommodation in heart of Dublin

Conveniently located but in a very touristy part of Dublin close to Temple Bar. Room was quiet and clean but not much character (a bit like an IKEA showroom). Staff were helpful and pleasant. Lighting in rooms is very dim with overly complicated controls. Our room had a kitchen (which we had no need for) but I may have missed this on the booking. There is a gym but, in general, it felt like a "no frills" accommodation.

This was a great location. Easy walking distance to a number of places, trinity college, temple bar, jameson distillery, restaurants, bars. The room was fine, bed comfortable and shower roomy. Great coffee shop right at the lication. Perfect to start the day.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Very comfortable bed. Could adjust thermostats to our personal liking. Very good quality shampoo and conditioner. Tasty, quick breakfast cafe on premises. Other very good breakfast spots very nearby for variety.The only things that I didn’t like were that: 1) there is a massive construction site behind the hotel -although we were up at 7am and out of the hotel by 9am, so it wasn’t a problem, and honestly, it was pretty interesting to see how a building is built. 2) whenever we needed the window curtain closed, the room felt somewhat dim because the various lamps left a couple of darker areas. They earned their 4 star review however because they cheerfully gave/loaned us things we needed. They found a power outlet converter for us when we really needed one which was a huge relief.

Fabulous hospitality

We initially had a room that had an issue with a terrible odor coming from the shower drain. They were prompt to provide us with a new room. Turned out to be a better space than our first one. I appreciated their willingness to help resolve the issue.
