Pool area closed. Has been closed for an amount of time and will remain closed. Breakfast very limited. Room smells like smoke/musty. Screens on windows are hardly attached. Seems this hotel is on its last leg.

You can not see out of the windows, a/c makes dripping noises and over heats and shuts off. Originally booked because it had a pool, no longer does. Breakfast was bad. Crockpot with cold sausages, tiny gas station doughnuts and a waffle maker. Tables are from the 90's and wore out. Beds were miserable. Very dated. Lights in the main entrance burned out. Vending machine had two options. Lower level had dehumidifier running and smelt like a wet basement. Not good!

Disappointing stay

The entry to this hotel is beautiful. No one was at the desk when we arrived but a bell was available to ring. Rooms were available but the moisture level in rooms was very high, though it was not high in the lobby. There was no shower vent. Breakfast was very skimpy-not even package oatmeal with orange juice that was mostly water. Peanut butter was not available as a minimal protein. No fruit or healthy food choice. No restaurant open when we arrived (3:30 p.m.) for the evening though the attendant said it was open.

Overall, the property was clean, just outdated. The windows panes were all foggy and needs placing. We chose this hotel due traveling with kids and wanting to use the adverised pool. After check in, we learned the pool has been broken and inoperable for what appears to be a very long time, per other reviews recently discovered. We would have chosen a differnt hotel if we have known the pool is no longer an amenity offered.

The hotel was conveniently located and parking was easy. The rooms were clean, and somewhat up-to-date. The tv in our room didn’t work (it said no service available). The plug to switch the water from bath to shower wasn’t working properly, so you got a low-pressure shower while water was still coming out of the tub faucet. The pool was out of service (we were not notified, just saw a sign on the door when we went to go swimming). The breakfast area was VERY limited and VERY small. There was a youth baseball tournament at the local sports complex, and with only 3 small 4-person tables in the breakfast area, we had to go to a restaurant. It was a room and bed, but not the most pleasant experience we’ve had.
