Overall this place was great! The outer cottage rooms were out dated but main building rooms were lovely. The food was excellent and the guy serving us was very nice!

one of the worst accommodation ever

I recently stayed at this hotel with my parents and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. We were unable to secure two rooms in the same building, which was quite inconvenient for a family stay. The condition of the room was disappointing — it was not properly cleaned, and I found hair on the bed, requiring us to request a change the bedings again. Breakfast was also disappointing. The variety was very limited, the croissants seemed stale, and the bananas were unripe. Additionally, we were surprised to find that basic items such as toast and other breakfast foods came at an extra cost. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel for families looking to enjoy a comfortable and authentic Scottish accommodation experience.

Needs a refresh

The bathroom was newly remolded and we'll appointed. This was contrasted by the walls in the bedroom that needed a new coat of paint. Overall in need of revision and updating

Terrible Hotel

The room carpet was thread bear, no hot water in the bathroom, on arrival the electrics weren’t working, on the hotel page it says it has a bar but all the drinks are none alcoholic as they don’t have a license, it also says it has a restaurant but in reality it’s a pizza / burger takeaway. No remote for the tele, eventually found under the bed. No chair just a bed

Description of Hotel said bar and restaurant, The Bar only served non-alcoholic drinks from a fridge and the restaurant was the takeaway pizza business. I booked breakfast for a didicated time but in the morning. the person in charge did not know about it, or truth be told, hadn't looked for the booking form, so it would be another 1/2 an hour before it was ready. Beiing in the area for business, I could not delay. Rooms were okay but wifi would connect to a phone but not to a laptop, so I ended up running off my personal hotspot. In all honesty, probably better in in the local prison as at least there are communal areas there.
