I loved our stay at the property. The staff was exceedingly and abundantly helpful. The amenities were perfect. The only issue was the overwhelming scent of mildew as soon as our room door opened, so much so that our belongings smell like mildew after our departure. Everything will need washed/aired out but overlooking that - the stay was PERFECT.

Property was nice. When we were there they had closed some of the restaurants leaving limited choices. You couldn’t eat at the hibachi restaurant unless you purchased a bottle of wine. I was very turned off by how much they pressured you into purchasing vacation packages with them and how much they were pushing for upgrades.

Location was understaffed, waiting very long to get drinks even when tipping generously. Some servers in restaurants seemed pissed off? Or annoyed by our presence. We were tricked into a sales pitch that was promised to be 90 minutes but lasted well over 2 hours, right in the middle of the day, and killed any chance of doing other activities that day. The pitch was super pushy and awkward and we said at the start we didn’t want to buy but they had 4 different people try to talk us into their tens of thousands of dollars, 15+ year vacation club. The food was okay and made sense for the price point.

Just returned from a 7-day stay. First off, skip the “Preferred” option..definitely not worth the extra cost. The food was great I give it 10/10 and the views were absolutely stunning (10/10). However, the staff could’ve been more welcoming, and the housekeeping and overall cleanliness were disappointing—I’d give that a 6/10. The hallways, in particular, weren’t very clean. On the bright side, the Jerk Hut was a standout, it was my favorite part of the trip. I would consider going back, but only if there are improvements in staff friendliness and housekeeping standards.

I stayed here before several years ago and it was an excellent experience. My most recent experience was not as pleasurable. We ended up having to move to another resort. The staff was exceptional but there were some major operational issues that impacted our stay.

The resort landscape was beautiful and kept. The staff was for the most part very friendly and accommodating. The resort was very clean. The food was very good in all the restaurants and buffet. Could use some updating in rooms and pool. But overall it was a wonderful vacation!
