Wonderful stay in tastefully renovated character building. Our room with ensuite was cozy, very comfortable and really well appointed. Made to order (order night before) breakfast superb and all of the Staff lovely & helpful. Loved our stay and highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Great central location and parking onsite. Rooms clean and well appointed but like most boutique hotels internal stairs is an issue for larger luggage. We had a top floor room but one bad thing was all top floor rooms share the same balcony so people can inadvertently look into your room. Privacy screens between rooms should be installed. Breakfast lovely.

We enjoyed our stay at The Dunedin Boutique Hotel. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. There was a peaceful ambience about the place. The breakfast was delicious with a small range of cooked foods and cereals/ yoghurts to select from which would cater for most people. All served in a delightful sunlit dining room. The Staff members were very obliging and helpful. We would definitely recommend to other friends and stay again.

We had the red chapel room with beautiful leadlight windows, view over the city. We came to admire historic architecture and just loved our room, the reason for choosing Dunedin House, an interesting hotel to stay in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything about this boutique hotel is unique and very, very beautiful. It is steeped in history which is honored respectfully and with great taste. Our top floor balcony has breathtaking views across Dunedin, the harbor and peninsula. ….you are truly in the sky. Bed - incredibly comfortable, room very warm and cosy, down stairs dining and pool room relaxed but stunning. Breakfast delicious and very generous.. and the Hosts are just lovely. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the city … walk back up hills not too deadly at all. Perfect location to explore this divine city. We really couldn’t recommend highly enough.
