Welcome to your escape from normal life. Eolus 522 is a beautifully remodeled 800 sq ft Condo at the base of Purgatory ready to be your base for your adventures exploring the San Juans. The condo is truly ski in ski out for your winter time adventures and has two hot tubs and a pool in the building. Enjoy your favorite cocktail on the deck as you watch the sunset over the needles and the base area of the resort. The condo has an easy to use kitchen to make cooking on vacation a breeze. The unit can sleep up to 6 with two queen beds and a pull out sleeper couch. The newly upgraded fireplace will add to the mountain ambiance of your vacation and keep you warm and toasty on the cool mountain nights. The condo has a covered parking spot, is close to the elevators and is perfect for your family vacation.

IMPORTANCE NOTICE: POOL AND HOT TUB CLOSED FOR SUMMER 2025
The Eolus Building has two Hot Tubs available for use year-round, and a Pool which is open in the summer months (June - August). Come rest your bones after a long day of Skiing or cool off in the pool after a day of Mountain Biking!

For an optional 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. When booking, just advise if you would like the extra 4% resort fee added.

We can accommodate 1 vehicle at this condo. Additional parking is available in general parking at the resort.

NO Smoking anywhere on the premises.

Guests will be sent a vacation rental agreement by Durango Colorado Vacations (the property manager) to e-sign at the time of booking.

Note: This home does not have Air Conditioning. Most homes do come equipped with box and ceiling fans.

A friendly reminder before you book your stay, is to remember we are trusted to manage independent and family-owned homes. We simply ask that you treat these homes and properties with the same respect that you would expect one to treat yours. Due to a recent uptick in unauthorized guest, pets and gatherings. We are implementing a strict one strike policy for any guest that are found having any unauthorized gatherings, pets or guest with them in the home. Failure to disclose any of the stated above will result in immediate termination of stay with no refund being issued for unused nights.

Please note that most properties are outfitted with outdoor security cameras.

Cancellation Policy:
If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that are made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival will receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee. Between (29) days and fifteen (15) days before arrival, guest will be refunded 50% of the reservation amount. (14) days or less to arrival, no refunds given.
For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date to receive a 100% refund minus a $250 cancellation fee Cancellations made between thirty one (31) days in advance of your arrival and (59) days will receive a 50% refund.

Trip insurance is available for purchase and is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Great location - as described

Location was fantastic with the ski in and ski out. Right next to ski rental and the base shops. Made it very easy for the family to be flexible. Nicely maintained and clean. Only downside was there isn’t a dishwasher or washer and dryer in the unit. But overall, I would recommend.
