Nice hotel. Stayed there because it stated it was 3 minute drive from Durango Silverton RR. Durango is a cute town with lots of choices for food and shopping. Room was nice and roomy.

Find something closer to the train and a lot newer

The whole facility seems old and rundown. There was a lot of noise from both rooms next-door. As soon as they turned on their plumbing, we had the benefit of lots of noise. It was rather chilly, but because it was only September there was no way to turn on any heat. Breakfast was very basic.

Old and tired for this place.. Cracked on the ceiling ...cracked wall in the bathroom. Bathroom fixtures about ready to fall out of the wall.. it's called lipstick on a pig and it'll cost you $160 a night..

Definitely one of the older places in town.

Definitely a much older hotel doing its best to hang on... Central heat/ac which means you don't have much flexibility on room temperature. They also don't maintain the HVAC units, so they're barely blowing out any air at all. Floors look like they've seen quite a bit of water damage, very uneven. Noisy road. Hotel staff were nice though.
