If you stay on a Friday or Saturday, be prepared to listen to club music until three or four in the morning. The area surrounding the hotel is a massive party zone, which is a lot of fun unless you need to sleep at night.

New hotel in old city in Düsseldorf central to just about everything. Nice having minibar with feee waters and a beer. No coffee in room though. Breakfast pricy at €30 but overall excellent hotel at good price

Great location and wonderful hotel. It is like staying in a historical museum or luxury castle. I recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Dusseldorf. Excellent restaurants and bar. Wonderful breakfast. I will stay here again when I come to Dusseldorf. WONDERFUL!

De Medici was magnificent. Location great - near historic, Rhine, museums, shopping, eating, drinking. Room was glitzy - glass door to bathroom and excessive miirroring gave too much light to sleeping area. space between desk and foot of bed inadequate. Lobby & breakfast superb.

I found this hotel to be a great place to stay when visiting Düsseldorf. It was conveniently located near the train station and the old town (Alstadt). The hotel's aesthetics, where modern flair meets medieval Rome decor & design were nice and the atmosphere, was inviting. The staff was friendly and very helpful. My room, although small given that it was a single occupancy, was nice and clean with all the needed amenities. All the old town attractions, shops, and restaurants, are conveniently located within walking distance. Check them out.
