Welcome to your Lake Charlevoix retreat
This lake home is the perfect Northern Michigan getaway for families looking to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories. Tucked into a private, wooded setting overlooking the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix, the home blends historic charm with modern comfort. Originally built over 100 years ago, it has been thoughtfully expanded to accommodate today’s families. Be sure to check out the framed photo inside showing what the home looked like back in 1922.
The main level offers plenty of space to gather, with two queen bedrooms, two living rooms separated by a shared fireplace, and two dining areas. The spacious kitchen is fully updated with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and two dining islands. There’s also a snack and coffee bar with a beverage refrigerator, perfect for easy mornings and afternoons. Most TVs in the home are smart TVs, and complimentary Wi-Fi is included.
Upstairs, you’ll find three additional bedrooms, including the primary suite with a king bed, full bathroom, and walk-out balcony. The remaining rooms include a bunk room for kids and a bedroom with two queen beds, making it easy to accommodate larger groups.
Outside, you’ll have access to a private dock that’s great for fishing and large enough to accommodate a 21-foot boat. A launch ramp is located at the end of the street, and South Arm Marina is just a short drive away.
The private beach is ideal for all ages. Younger guests can enjoy a shallow, sandy swimming area, while deeper water begins farther out past the dock. It’s a great setup for both swimming and fishing.
The South Arm of Lake Charlevoix is known for its warmer, sandy-bottom waters, making it one of the best spots on the lake for swimming and water sports. The quiet, wooded setting also offers frequent wildlife sightings and a peaceful break from busier areas. Pets are welcome with a non-refundable fee (charged separately if booking through a third party).
