Nice clean hotel

The hotel was clean for its age. We had a sea facing room, and there was a lot of road noise so it was difficult to sleep. The rooms that are not facing the road may be quieter.

Right on the seafront.

The hotel is in a good location on the front. The room we had was at the back and was very hot. Even with the window open. It was also very noisy due the road at the back. The staff are lovely.

The best part of staying there was the staff. Each of them were sincerly nice and quite helpful. The breakfast was hot and very good. A great deal for the price. I would stay there again.

I often stay at this hotel for overnight stop or short stay in Eastbourne. It is clean, secure and easy to to get to on foot from the central town area. Location is ideal for an evening stroll ore early morning walk along the promenade. I can't comment on car parking as I always use public transport to/from and around Eestbourne.

Lovely hotel on the seafront

A perfect location, directly on the seafront and walkable to the town and theatre. An old hotel, but our room was recently decorated and clean. We parked in the NCP about a 10 min walk from the hotel, but there were options to park along the seafront.

The staff were lovely. Very polite and helpful. My room was clean. A bit noisy traffic, but it got quiet after 10pm. The breakfast was good as well. Good value for money.

I liked the restaurant/breakfast area as it was bright and beach front. Car permits was given for the stay.There was no uniqueness regarding the hotel. The stairs, bedroom and bathroom needs modernisation. The whole hotel is very dated with caution tapes on the stairs.

An attractive garden gave welcome to a spacious and clean entrance. Since our stay was on a bank holiday early in the season the bar was not open and we were not able to dine from what looked like a tasty menu. Check in was easy and the room spotless and well- appointed. Location central and near the sea made this a pleasant stay
