Front desk gentleman that was there was rude to everyone. Doesn’t seem like he wants to be there at all. Attitude even when I tried smiling at him and saying hi when passing by. Disrespectful to customers. I was there at 5:30pm June 21 2025. The lady there was very sweet but he was helping a customer and kept making side comments to our group. Also spoke down to the customer he was helping cause the customer had an accent even thou he had one too.

Right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to shops, restaurants, Rogers Place, etc. Parking lot best suited for smaller vehicles - full size trucks won’t fit/manuever easily in their lot. There is paid parking across the street for bigger vehicles. Our room was very basic - no fridge or microwave. Temperature control not working, our window looked out to concrete walls of the parkade. Beds were springy. It’s very dated room, need updating.

Booked a weekend stay for a game convention over at the Expo Center. Noticed a few bites on my neck during the first night and didn't think much of it. Got in late on Friday and was too tired to change into bed clothes and fell asleep right away and next morning didn't experience any further irritants so forgot about it. Saturday night I slept in a tshirt and shorts again and woke up with extensive bite marks all across shoulders. Was hesitant to blame the hotel but given the only times the itchy marks worsened was when I was wearing short sleeves in bed it's the likely cause. Had my family doctor check and said it was a bug bite and not any kind of allergic reaction. Won't be staying here again.
