First time in Mexicali. Loved this hotel. The hotel staff was very welcoming, friendly and so attentive. The hotel is nice and comfortable. Located central to anything necessary...food options, boutiques, walmart, coffee shops... Starbucks just outside if you're still into that sort of thing... I would reccomend a locally owned coffee shop... there are so many! But I digress... The breakfast buffet in the hotel is sooo good. Worth every penny. And bring tips! The servers deserve them.

For one when I checked into the room it smelled like sewer, also that same room had music coming through the walls like that was a hole in the wall. I had to change rooms and that room was okay. The other thing is there was a special going on for these rooms at $79 through the month of April and Expedia did not acknowledge that. I think if there was a special going on I should have gotten that special as well. But no I ended up paying $190 for my room.

Se estaba efectuando una boda y la fiesta estaba afuera de mi ventana. Cuando hice check-in no me dijeron nada, hasta que entré al cuarto me esperé un par de hrs porque pensé que se acabaría a media noche. Despues me enteré qué la fiesta se acabaría casi a las 4am. Imposible descansar así. Expedia me regresó mi dinero pero mi noche y mis planes de descansar se perdieron :( Si me hubieran avisado cuando recién entré, hubiera tenido mejor decenlace

There was a weeding unfortunately for us guest we could use the only pool that was useful after 6pm so they asked us to leave because the weeding they had going on plus the hot tub and the other pool are under construction witch is not noted on the hotel info. The staff is very niceand helpful but upon checking in they never advised me of the hot tub and other pool cituacion a real disappointment

The property is conveniently located. Its real nice and staff us very friendly. Check in was a breeze and so was check out. All the staff we encountered were awesome and polite. The onlybdraw backs were the pool was imunder construction in our tower. The elevator wasn't working either. We had to use the service elevator and the entire hitel smelled like mildew. The smell went away or we eventually got used to it. The rooms are nice, A/C works well. The bar is cool, must try the olives prepared, delicious. They have great music and the atmosphere is good. Parking is secured always a great thing.

I was really disappointed when I got to the hotel, the property is older and outdated. I had to move rooms 2 different times to finally get an ok room. The 1st room was on the 3rd floor older building, it was very dark, old, the restroom was making a loud noise, it was musty. The 2nd room wasn't any better, the furniture is outdated and the room smelled dirty. Finally they moved me to a newer part of the hotel, 1st floor in front of the pool this was better. But I was surprised that a Araiza hotel was so outdated
