We loved staying at the Posada San Antonio. Mariana, Anita and company were great, made our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast here is so good, especially the eggs, and it helped fueled us for the start of our day. Mariana also provided great advice and guidance on the hikes that we could do based on the weather conditions. Would definitely book our stay here again if we return to El Chalten.

Pros:
- Located close to the main street with restaurants
- Kitchen that is open for guest use till 9pm
Cons:
- Poor noise insulation, especially on the ground floor
- Limited breakfast options
- Expensive for the amenities offered
We could hear people in the next room.
Carpet dingy - I would have preferred wood or tile floor.
Breakfast good.
Diane spoke good English and was very friendly.

Staff for the morning breakfast was very attentive and gave us a lot of good advise
The staff at the hotel were great. The breakfast was simple but yummy. I appreciated the fact that the hotel was off the Main Street so it was a little quieter than others would have been; do keep in mind that that means you’ll have farther to walk to get to the trailhead for Laguna de Los Tres though.
This is very well run hotel, an excellent breakfast, and a kitchen you can use to make a drink or cook for yourself. The staff speak great English too. Very friendly and homely.
Clean and cozy rooms. Leila was wonderful and made me feel so welcome. She was so helpful in explaining everything about the town and hikes. I would recommend staying at this property to anyone who is looking for a a good value and friendly place place.
Staff were 2nd to none, helpfull in every way, with beaming smiles. We had a bunk bed room, top bunk was a bit awkward for me, as im 53, stairs were a bit creaky, shower was excellent, breakfast was good, coffee and tea available all day. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the room was very small.
Lilian was absolutely amazing. My bags were lost in transit and she helped me so much. You can safely store bags there while you're hiking overnight. The room was tidy and had everything I needed. I would stay here again!
El Chalten it’s such a gorgeous and beautiful place. So no matter where you are staying, you cannot be but happy. This was a cute little hostel/guest house. The biggest asset of this place is Laila and Lila the two wonderful front desk lady’s. They are always cheerful with wonderful tips, and answered all the questions. The place is hostel like so Of course the rooms are super small, but adequate for a few days. Interestingly, my experience was the opposite of any experiences I have ever heard. They actually charged me less than what Expedia quoted, which was a huge surprise. I would recommend this place if you are planning on hiking and not spending too much time, in your dwelling, the price is unbeatable.
Posada San Antonio was clean and comfortable and the perfect place for us to stay in El Chalten. The staff were amazing, they go out of their way to help with whatever it is you need
Double rooms super efficient in their layout. Staff was really super friendly and helpful. Convenient location. Breakfast a bit sparse in terms of options, but sufficient.
We live in cabin which is 7 blocks away from the main hostel. The cabin is in very good condition. Inside the cabin is very clean, and there is staff clean up our rooms every day. Location of the cabin is kind of convenient as well. Lot of restaurants, supermarket & laundry shop are all in walkable distance. One of the trail head near the cabin as well. Good place to stay.
El Chalten is a pricey town and this is also true for Inlandis in terms of value. What one may enjoy at the same price say in Spain, for example, will not come close here at this posada. Meager furnishings, no TV, poor breakfasts would be examples to set a much lower bar here.

Go here for excellent service
This place seemed a little overpriced when I got there but that could be because it's high season and El Chalten is really small town so most places are expensive. I also booked very late. Room was as shown in pictures so no complaints there. Service was fantastic. Breakfast is good. People are amazingly helpful.. My only gripe about this place was that the shower was too small. You can barely move around in it.
