Book Eljas hotels

Visitors to Caceres will find there's only 1 hotel within a 10-kilometre radius of Eljas.

Eljas is not known for being the hotel capital of Caceres, however the Hospedería Conventual Sierra de Gata is close enough to the downtown buzz to satisfy most travellers.

Two places that could be ideal are the Ô Hotel Fonte Santa and the Cró Hotel Rural. The Ô Hotel Fonte Santa is located 25 kilometres from the heart of Eljas. The Cró Hotel Rural is 30 kilometres away. The Hotel Boavista is located 25 kilometres away from the heart of Eljas and is another recommended alternative.

While you are in Eljas, ensure you have enough time to enjoy Extremadura's other scenic and cultural delights. Photograph Extremadura's forests. You could also go to the area's ruins and old towns. In this region of Spain, visitors might try their hand at mountain climbing.

Hervas is 85 kilometres to the east of Eljas and is where you'll find the Museum of Motorcycles and Classic Cars and Museo Perez Comendador-Leroux. Should you wish to stay in Hervas, check out the room rates at the Hospedería Valle de Ambroz and El Canchal de la Gallina. Alternatively, you could stay in Caceres Old Town, 90 kilometres to the southeast of Eljas, where you'll find the Atrio Restaurante Hotel and Parador de Cáceres. While in Caceres Old Town, be sure to visit the Caceres Museum and Palace of the Marqueses de Torreorgaz.

Get your sports fix with a journey to Plaza de Toros, which is 90 kilometres to the southeast of Eljas. Sleep close to the action at the Atrio Restaurante Hotel or the Parador de Cáceres.
