Welcome to The Goddess Door Family Home, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This home is located on a quiet 5-acre piece of property on a cul-de-sac. The yard has several seating areas. The house is on the north side of Ellison Bay, close to many activities, and a good home base for exploring all the county has to offer.
This home was built by the current owner's father, who was a skilled carpenter. He handcrafted the kitchen cabinets from cherrywood and made the stained-glass windows in the three-season porch. He remodeled and maintained it with love. There are many small touches in the home that reflect the family's Door County history, such as the kitchen table that belonged to the owner's grandparents where many family memories were made. You will also find art from local artists, and touches of The Clearing Folk School throughout the house. The Clearing Folk School is adjacent to this property.
