Unfortunately we were unable to stay here due to a big safety concern for one of the ladies we were traveling with. Her room was unable to be locked properly. The owner was unaware of the damage to the door and apologized. She also stated that we would be receiving a refund. I am awaiting the credit to my credit card.

We hiked spookey and peekaboo as well as calf creek falls. It was so nuce to be able to come back and get cleaned up and relaxe in a quite comfertable setting.

My husband and I were on a camping trip in Moab and Escalante, but unfortunately we both got very sick so we had to find a room to be more comfortable. The Circle of Destination Motel exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and welcoming, and the host was very nice and friendly. This motel is located very close to the main road in Escalante. However, we were surprised how very quiet it was. No car noise could be heard; we even slept with the window open. This motel is pet friendly, and also very close to dining and grocery store. I highly recommend the organic store on the Main street where you can also get coffee, homemade pastries, bread, and delicious sandwiches.

Ideally located for our hike to Coyote Gulch. However, we arrived super late due to a traffic detour (they were very accommodating to our late arrival) and the floors creaked so bad we felt like we couldn’t walk around to prep our packs for the next days hike. We tried our best to be quiet, but felt like every step was annoying our neighbors. Super cute area, but floors were very noisy.

Super friendly staff, fast and easy check in. Laid back, large clean rooms. Well insulated, couldn't hear any traffic passing by, even though property is located right off the main road. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Escalante!

Our room was renovated and had the best bathroom out of our month long stay in the country. Very clean (probably too clean as we had to air out the room temporarily from the cleaning products). Good to see. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the firepit was a bonus. I liked the electronic code access to our room, rather than a keycard or key. Very handy.

This is such a fun place! Loved the vibe, from the outdoor firepit in the evening to the colorful office, to the easy walk to get a pizza that is still "haunting my dreams", as promised. Circle of D looks unassuming from the outside and as you drive by, but the rooms are just fine, the bathroom fixtures and soaps etc... are very nice. There is a big of noise transference from neighbors but I just turned on the AC unit and that took care of it. This isn't a big chain hotel/motel, things vary from room to room, but that's the fun of it. If you want corporate consistency then stay somewhere else. But if you're wanting local charm and a great base for exploration, along with friendly folks, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back.
