Our room 11 was very clean (wood floor, furniture including the drawers, sink, toilet, shower drained properly)). We stayed 2 nights with 4 bath towels and plenty other towels. No need for second day cleaning, but could had left a note for cleaning if needed. Parking was great too.
We received the email with our room number and door code. No need for front desk checkin.

Liked: Staff & service
The property was convenient for the area we wanted.
I spoke with one of the staff and they were very courteous and made us feel welcome. The lady went above and beyond to help is to get our key code. The price of a room stay was very reasonable.
Really good, clean budget room. We've been travelling around the USA for 3 weeks and this is the first place that actually had a shower, and not a shower in a bathtub, so that was a really good change.
Loved the check in process which was an email the day before with the room number and door code.
Staff the following day were great, told me if i had a Cooler (Esky) i was free to fill it via the ice machine. That might seem like an easy offer, but on this trip we've had times where we've been refused this request.
Local Dinner options are limited, especially with kids (in Utah kids cant eat somewhere where there is a bar). But the Pizzas Escalante Outfitters were great
This was a convenient place to stop between Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We felt safe. We were disappointed that the restaurant was not open while we were there. That is one reason we booked this hotel. A local gentlemen suggested a few places for supper. Only one of them was open in Escalante Outfitters. We got a good pizza there. For breakfast the next morning, we had trouble finding something open again. We found Waffles & Wildflowers across the road. The sweet Bavarian waffle we order was delicious! We were told that the hotel is in the process of changing ownership, so things may improve soon.
Check in was by phone, no office personnel. No key, just entry code. Drapes don’t cover windows, creepy light above door, bathroom door frame unfinished, cockroach in food bag, barely comfortable, couldn’t wait to leave. No food recommendations. Had to boil water or use bottle water. Should have stayed at waffle cabins up the road a bit.
I was given a door code by email for check in. We had no coffee cups. No one in office, no one to call. No employees noted anywhere. Restaurant not open for any meals.

Disliked: Room comfort
The town is small but quaint. The restaurant in front of hotel had delicious breakfast and pizza place just down the road was good. the hotel is older but clean enough. my complaint is that it advertised queen bed but definitely not that big. it's fine place for just a night stay while traveling
Bed was overall comfortable but the hard edges weren’t good. Could use new ones. Another shelf in the bathroom would help. And some art on the walls would make it homier. But the room had great amenities and was very quiet.
Checking in was extremely easy. Our room was clean and very nice. The toilet was a little unstable, which was concerning, but the shower was the best one we had on our entire trip. We'd stay here again.
Location is quiet, clean and has beautiful views. Although a little outdated, it is very clean and comfortable. Bathroom remodel looks nice and clean. Restaurant on site and other options within walking distance. Very convenient to National Parks. Would stay here again.
