The resort was well equipped and 20 years ago was likely amazing. It was generally clean but facility is dated. The breakfast area is nice and kids under 11 eat free. For $500 a night, it relies on being in Estes Park to demand this price. Staff was friendly

The property has aged a bit, but the staff is excellent, and the little things like a coffee bar, water refill station, fire pits, and s'mores kits for the kids really made this a fantastic place to stay.

We loved the renovated pool and the complimentary s’mores kit for the fire pits. Some of the updates are fun and great for families, but our a/c was quite loud and some areas require stairs for access. We could walk into town, which was convenient. We were given a room that was already occupied when we first checked in, but the front desk staff was apologetic and upgraded us.
