Overall, he hotel was run-down. The bright side is that the employees provided exceptional customer service. My concern is that Eureka still uses a sundown siren! For those of you who don't know, those sirens were used to warn Native Americans to town by sundown or face vicious hate crimes and arrest from the settlers. Often, the encounters resulted in extreme injuries and/or death. To say that the siren is now used as a curfew warning for minors is a classic example of whitewashing Nevada's racist, Eurocentric history. Eureka believes it's above the law and doesn't have to comply with Nevada SB 391. Avoid this town if you can.

A lovely place to stay

This is a warm and welcoming place for you and your dog, with clean rooms, in a beautifully maintained place. The town is very sweet too, with Mom’s Cafe just down the street. We loved that it is family owned and run.

Most of the clientele stays here are construction workers working in the mins nearby. Motel would die if did not have their money. Only problem is they take over the breakfast room and empty out all the menu options. Plus fairly noisy through the night. There was a dog in the room above mine which barked at every sound.

Best stay of our 3 week trip

This was a last minute pick on a trip across hwy 50. Wound up being the best stay of our trip. Room was large, super clean, ac was quiet and efficient, shower was huge walk-in. Hotel has a bit of a weird layout, with office and breakfast room in one building, and rooms in 2 separate buildings, but easily accessed. Great parking close to the rooms. Quiet, even with a few construction and road workers staying. There's not many choices in Eureka, NV, but this is a good one. Probably the very best.

Unfortunately they were unable to accommodate our request for a first floor room. The room we did have was excellent, but it was up a flight of stairs. The breakfast is basic, but the front desk lady very willingly helped us get the pancake machine started. Suggest Urban Cowboy restaurant for dinner, excellent Indian food. Very close by.

The property was great. Parking was wonderful. Breakfast had a lot to be desired. There were no eggs, bacon or any hot food. Everything was prepackaged and the two people putting the breakfast out. We’re very rude.

Front desk staff was great. Went out of her way to assist me with checking, parking and choice of food options nearby. Parking was suitable for my mode of transportation with motorcycle! Other staff encountered were kind and welcoming. Room was clean, comfortable and the pillows were perfect. I'd buy one. Great stay.

The staff were exceptionally hospitable. We were on a long road trip, and it was well worth stopping in Eureka and staying there rather than pushing on toward Ely. Would definitely stay there again.
