All was fantastic. We were very happy with how the unit was stocked. Plentiful amounts of everthing, overwhelmed, by how well it was done.

Had a problem with the barbecue and power and couldn’t get in touch with the host which was disappointing.

Poor maintenance, property wasn't properly cleaned from last guests, ear plugs were left in bed, contact lenses left on window ledge, dirty floor, broken fly screens on windows, very bad condition of stairs...... Outside looks much better than outside

I’d suggest you steer clear of this property. We were pretty bummed out because the ad didn’t quite match the reality, and it was a big mess. We had to leave a night early, which unfortunately cut our Christmas holiday with family short.If I could, I’d give it zero stars. Some of the main problems were that there was no microwave, no internet or TV (the host suggested we use a hotspot, but if you’re not with Telstra, there’s practically no reception) and the bathroom floorboards were water-damaged, and mouldy. The fridge and freezer were also mouldy and rusty, and two of the four burners on the cooktop weren’t working. The main bedroom fans were too slow and the speed switch didn’t work (which was a bit much on a hot December day), plus the fans were dirty and there were heaps of other issues. The house is also full of stuff left by previous guests such as random shampoo, kitchen utensils, cutlery, etc.We’re also a bit disappointed with the Stayz/Vrbo support team, especially how this has been handled and the little compensation they’ve offered, even though they advertised it as a guarantee.

Excellent stay! Donna and Fraser were very accomodating and quick in communication. The cottage was clean, well maintained and perfect for a family of 6 staying a week in K’gari. Great outdoor area that was meshed in to allow for seating that was free of flys and other bugs. Very comfortable stay overall.
