Nice place, just needs some finishing touches.
Room was nice and clean, appeared to be newly renovated. Nice quiet area.
FYI , Several issues with the unit, 1. The shower handle came off the first time we used it. I repaired it by tightening the hex head screw. 2. The nozzle on the utility sick would not retract because there was no weight installed on the flexible tubing under the sink. 3. The mini refrigerator needs to be leveled. I had to install a folded wash cloth under the left front corner to keep products from spilling out when opening the door.
Spacious, ground level, unit with two queen beds and a sleeper sofa. The beds were comfortable, but the sleeper sofa was uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on. The private screened-in-porch was a real bonus with a dining table for four. The full kitchen was well stocked with supplies.
Unit appears to be recently remodeled as it was much nicer than the website photos. Our family of four adults would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

An average no-frills motel. Older building that has been upgraded so rooms were clean and what was in them worked. Some rooms had a porch or deck, ours didn't so room was small with no lounging space, although pool area outside did provide that. Quiet location, as is the whole town. Good fridge with microwave. Water flow restrictor on shower provided no more than a trickle, somewhat frustrating. No staff on premises, after arrival had to drive a mile to another hotel to check in, although the staff there was helpful and friendly. An OK place to spend a couple of nights while visiting the area but don't expect much more than that.

Property was somewhat dated and the rooms were small
I have never left a hotel review but you asked so offering. There is mold in the bathroom, a hole in the bathroom wall, bugs smashed into the wall, filthy baseboards, etc. it is motel 6 worthy. Extremely overpriced. Walls are pretty thin as we can hear guests behind our head board wall. Also, rooms are connected by a door. That would be okay if it was a $60 room with non-insulated/soundproof walls.
The room was clean but the hotel itself very dated, no lobby, stairs steep and just everything was old and dated. Pool area very nice. Room was ok. Check in and out inconvenient as we had to go to another property but staff there was very friendly and welcoming.

Rip off
We made the reservation, showed up, they told they weren't ready for us for several more hours and to keep checking back and "maybe" the housekeeping staff would tell them if there was a room ready. They had zero amenities available while we waited. We had to drive back the way we came to a different location to check into the hotel that was abandoned by employees and surrounded by condemned buildings. There was literally no where to fish, no where to hang out, and no where to eat. We left, bookekd another hotel in a different town, and captain's table refused to give me a refund, even though we didnt stay there. Never checked in. I tried to get a refund via super.com, where i had made the reservation, but they dont stand behind their clients. They forced me to pay hundreds of dollars to a hotel that lied and false advetised.
Property appears to have been damaged by hurricanes and may be under repair. No towel racks, no ice machine. Worst part, no check in or personnel on site. Check in was miles away. If we had been forewarned, we would’ve accepted all conditions.
Property is very old, no desk to check in, you have to go 6 blocks just to see staff and check in. Would not recommend

I know it's the season, but.
The interior hallway of this two story walk up motel looks freshly painted. The room was partially redone, with work ongoing in the bathroom - no toilet paper holder, no soap dispenser and no hand soap so it was necessary to step into the walk in shower to get a squirt of body wash. No paintings on the wall. Pretty barebones. Bed comfortable. Prices in June start at $71 but we paid $184. Worth $71.
Property is very old. Very inconvenient to check in or get any help is 1/2 mile down the road at a different property. Would not recommend

The hotel smelled so badly of mold we had to move out and go to their hotel Ivy. Management said they had no idea. Very hard to believe. I have never requested a different room in my life. (I am 55). The mold smell hit you in the face as soon as you opened the door. The Ivy was good.

Clean but tired and overpriced
Loved visiting Everglades City! The hotel was Overpriced for a tired facility with little/no ameneties and no front desk or lobby. I had to provide my own hand soap in the bathroom! “Kitchenette” was a non-equipped sink and refrigerator. We had to drive up the street to check in and out. Bathroom, while clean, seemed to be in the middle of wall repairs.Hairdryer did not work. The two double bed room would have been better priced at $100/night.
