The Fyn Alps, Svanninge Bakker, is a popular excursion destination near the buoy. Svanninge Bakker is a beautiful, hilly area with hiking and cycling trails and a nature playground. From Böjden it is only a few kilometres to Faaborg, an exciting harbour town with a marina, good shops, cultural attractions, tennis, mini golf and a swimming pool.
