First off the staff was amazing. They got me checked in early because I wasnt feeling well at all. The breakfast was amazing. The room was clean. They had options to do smores at a reasonable price. Everything was just great. Thanks for taking such good care of us!!!!

The room, amenities, convenience and surroundings of Pike's are amazing as always. It is where we stay when we visit Fairbanks. However, simce our last stay it seems like they've started using an overpoweringly scented air freshener. My child has asthma and allergies and we debated finding another hotel when we realized she was having issues. It was strong enough to bother all of us. If you are sensitive to fragrances, I would strongly recommend calling ahead and finding out if you can request they use something else in your room before booking.

We stayed at Pikes for our daughter’s wedding and our stay was fantastic! The event manager, Ursula, was so helpful and accommodating- she made the wedding planning so easy and was so accommodating and kind. Our stay was truly wonderful! The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We absolutely loved how the hotel embraced Alaskan history throughout the decor, rooms, and overall atmosphere, with stories of legendary individuals who made history in Alaska on doorways of the rooms. It felt authentic and deeply meaningful, especially as Alaskans ourselves. The little touches made the experience even more special: the $1.50 ice cream bars in the evening were a delightful treat, and the bar and lounge area was incredibly inviting, with cozy seating, a welcoming fireplace, and a nice selection of games. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing evening nightcap. We love that one of our favorite restaurants, Pike's Landing is right next door - great food and service! Our room even included a balcony, which we greatly appreciated, even if the -20°F temperatures kept us happily indoors! As locals visiting family in Fairbanks, we were so pleased that the hotel felt genuine and not overly tourist-oriented. It struck just the right balance. We’ll most certainly be returning on our next trip, thank you for a memorable stay!

Charming cabin with a cozy ambiance. Location is excellent, plenty to explore. We stayed in cabin 5 and were pleased to find a large refrigerator, which we stocked with snacks, drinks, and food for the week. However, our excitement was short-lived, as we woke up to find that our food had spoiled due to the refrigerator's malfunction. Although the freezer functioned properly, the bottom section did not cool at all. The lodge offered a $50 cash reimbursement, which did not cover our losses, and a voucher for a salad or burger at the adjacent restaurant, where we ended up spending over $40 on drinks and an appetizer. The TV remote control did not function correctly, making it difficult to access our desired channels. The bed was extremely firm, but the pillows were exceptional. The tub was quite small. Nonetheless, the breathtaking views from our windows, including the spectacular display of the northern lights, were unforgettable. The included breakfast was satisfactory. The lodge features a theater room, although it lacked a remote control, and a cozy reading nook. The fire pits were a nice amenity, and the staff ensured that the paths were clear for all guests. While some staff members were friendly, others seemed overwhelmed and unpleasant. Additionally, the cleaning staff should attend to the main door in this cabin, which had blood on it. We hope to return in the summer with our entire family. Sucked that they didn’t have a sauna which was why we booked here.

Complimentary breakfast awesome. Staff very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Airport shuttle is on demand not on a schedule. So there is no need to make reservations.
