The room was dusty (floor). The food was ok. The entertainment was loud but underwhelming. And on Sat night, there was no entertainment if you didn’t sign up for an hour’s ride to a white party. The beach / sea access only came above my knees. The whole trip was planned around the beach. The staff was very nice and attentive.

I love the staff because they are attentive and helpful. I love the Micheal Jackson show. A couple of the bartenders were awesome. If you get a drink at the bar, ask them for top shelf. There isn't an extra charge for top shelf liquor. The resort is beautiful, however, everything closes at 6pm such as the swimming pools and jerk chicken station. The food was average. The steakhouse was my favorite, but it does require a reservation. I wouldn’t recommend this resort if you are traveling without children.

Our trip to the Riu Palace Aquarelle was nothing short of amazing. Start to finish it was the best trip ever. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and safe. The staff were incredible and worked really hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Everyone we came in contact with was phenomenal. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I can't say enough great things about our stay. It was awesome!!!

This hotel was one of the best from the RIU chain. It was very modern. The food was really good with a lot of different options. All the staff was AMAZING and the entertainment team was Top Tier. I recommend this hotel.

Great new property. Buffet is fantastic! Much better than the a la carte restaurants. Would have liked to see a Jamaican speciality restaurant. Property is about 45 minutes from the airport. Good customer service.

This property was well maintained and updated since it is new. The food was excellent especially on the buffet! I loved the Jamaican food choices on the buffet. Making reservations for the semi-a la Carte restaurants was a pain so definitely book all your reservations at the start of your stay. The lasagna at Napoli was good but the buffet selections in Napoli were disappointing. Many hot items were cold and some things were tasteless. I’d opt for the buffet for every meal unless you grab a burger from the sports bar or the jerk hut. I was underwhelmed with the service we received. Although we did meet a few nice servers, overall the staff had attitudes and acted as if you were bothering them by ordering. I believe they are underpaid because you can always tell when the workers feel they are fairly compensated but that’s just my opinion. One of the elevators was broken during our stay but our rooms were near the elevator so it did not cause us too much trouble. The resort was a bit noisy but for good reason! Theres lots to do and the entertainment was good! Would recommend but don’t expect five star service.

Great family resort ! The property is new and the staff was wonderful. It is a big resort be prepared to walk off all the food.

We had a good stay. Perfect for family with kids. Enough fun for both demographics. The Jamaican food was good, was weary because of review but even my Jamaican parents agreed the food was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms service was pleasant. We really didn't have any complaints except with the restaurant bookings.
