My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Riu Palace Aquarelle. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The entertainment was top notch and there was always something fun happening throughout the day and evening. The service was also excellent — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The only downside for us was the quality of the buffet food, which could have been a bit better compared to the rest of the experience. However, aside from that, everything was great and we absolutely loved the resort. We would definitely recommend it and would happily return!

The room did not come with a curtain. Had to wait three days and twice daily complaints to fix this issue. The TV kept losing channels, and often I could not view certain channels. The TV simple need reprograming...No one ever came to fix this matter during my stay, although I called almost daily..The room service staff was wonderful as my housekeeper. Specialty restaurant server at Krystal's I believe was rude and condescending...other issue as well with my reservation at the Steak House.

We had a great stay here. The standout is the staff; wonderful, fun, kind, and hardworking. From start to finish, they created a welcoming, high-energy vibe that made the experience better. I especially loved the dance lessons the entertainment crew held. The property itself is beautiful: clean, well-designed, and easy to enjoy whether you’re relaxing or moving around for food, drinks, or entertainment. The vibe is lively but not chaotic; it feels like a place built for joy. The buffets were solid and consistently good, and two of the specialty restaurants, the steakhouse and the Asian restaurant were delicious! One thoughtful suggestion: there is a huge amount of leftover food from the restaurants. It’s hard not to notice how much could be redirected to help feed the local community instead of being discarded. It feels like a wasted opportunity to do some real good. I noticed the eco efforts with the recyclable cups, key card to turn on the lights, little notes around the hotel about eco efforts. Great touch. Overall, a beautiful resort with great food, an excellent atmosphere, and truly exceptional staff. We’d absolutely return.
