Staff was great, property was clean, food was ok. The buffet had alot of options. Pepes was a good optjon for lunch. IMO the steakhouse was the best dining option. Fam of 4, 15yo and 13yo stayed for 5 nights. We had a very enjoyable vacation.

the beach was nice and calm and great for small children. in the main buffet restaurant you had to find your seat yourself which sometimes meant you had to aimlessly search for a seat for you and your party and sometimes stand and wait for a table to be cleaned. Which mean having to watch a dirty table just before you start your own meal. This did give a good appealing start to our own meal. The ends and room were nicely arranged and adequate for the visit. Food options excellent as well however the juices varied in quality each day and was sometimes watered down so much that you felt you were drinking flavored water instead of orange juice. Most staff were polite but some could not care to smile and be warm while serving the drinks. The housekeeping kept opening the doors without a knock or call at the fire before entering. I have had the privilege of staying at many resorts in the past and this experience was less than i expected. This resort has good potential but it needs more organization of both the events, The app that we were told to use did not work properly most of the time. it was hard to book restaurant and other reservations. the resort was in my opinion affordable and has opportunities to become a great resort. , but that extra care is missing that i am accustomed to at other comparable resorts like the excellence brand for example

Our family had an absolutely incredible stay at this all-inclusive hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The food options were outstanding—delicious, fresh, and with so many choices that every member of our family found something they loved at every meal. The entertainment and activities kept both the kids and adults happy and engaged throughout the entire stay. The pools, beach access, and overall resort amenities were top-notch, and the level of service was truly exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation experience. The staff, property and food were really good. The only thing that needs to improve is the beach area. Need to be more clean and need new beach umbrellas. They were all damaged. But overall I am satisfied.

The overall visit was great. Food options we above average compared to other resorts we've travelled. I had read complaints about booking at the different restaurants, but we never had one issue. The beds were nice, just needed more than 2 pillows, which we did request, and the staff brought extras. The wifi was a bit in/out on some portions of the beach, but who wants to be on the phone while on vacation anyway. The only improvement that I believe is out of Riu's control is the rocks in the water near the beach. It didn't give you much room to go out and swim. There was also a pile of rocks/concrete near the volleyball court, which could be very dangerous if you were running for the ball and not paying attention. We had a wonderful time and will return in the near future to another Riu Hotel!
