A timber-frame log lodge tucked into 27 private wooded acres in Virginia, just 3 hrs from DC and 1 hr from Richmond.

Spend your days biking/hiking High Bridge Trail, your evenings around the fire ring, and your nights soaking in the private hot tub on the wrap-around porch. Wood-burning fireplace, game loft with board games, full kitchen, and WiFi when you need it.

Guest Access:
Self check-in with smart lock. Each guest will be provided with a unique Access Code.

Other Things to Note:
• AWD/4WD vehicle strongly recommended during winter months — the road to the cabin can be steep and slick in icy conditions
• No washer or dryer on-site — pack accordingly for longer stays
• We treat for pests every 3 weeks from April through October. That said, we`re surrounded by 27+ acres of untouched woodland — you may encounter bugs, flies, spiders, and the occasional wild critter. It`s part of the experience.

• Guest must complete pre-arrival ID verification including damage protection selection via our digital guest portal.

• Guests must be 21 years or older to rent. Guests under 21 years old must be accompanied by parent/guardian.

• No parties, pre-games, or events. Visitors are strictly prohibited.

• Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday to Sunday.

• Speakers are prohibited from being used to play music at any time, including outdoor spaces.

• Shoes are not permitted inside the cabin.

• Indoor smoking is prohibited; a fine of $300 per night will be imposed.

• 8 guests maximum. Additional overnight guests beyond the reservation will incur a fee of $30 per person per night.

• Unauthorized late checkouts past 11:00 AM will incur a fee of $100 per extra hour to cover the cost of cleaning delay.

• Any mess left behind that requires a deep cleaning will result in a fee of $200 to cover the cost of additional cleaning.

This cabin is wonderful. The decor is great, the beds are comfortable, there was a nice big kitchen table (one inside and on the deck) for eating and socializing. I had a few simple questions and the property owner was quick to respond. We will definitely be back.

Loved this place

The home was clean and had everything. It definitely was a little loud probably due to it being a log cabin? but we had fun and it was right around the corner from Longwood. Liked that it had 2 bedrooms down and 1 bedroom & loft and bath upstairs. Plenty of parking & loved the huge porch & hot tub.

The trail from the cabin was great for biking the high bridge trail. You can go both ways for long rides. High bridge is 1:5 miles from cabin.

Fun Farmville Family Weekend

This cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean and organized. Well appointed kitchen with plenty of supplies for us to cook some meals together. Our girls loved the loft with game table and spending some time in hot tub which was clean and perfect temp even for them. The decor of cabin is cute and welcoming. The fire pit was also a huge hit for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. The property was quiet even with the neighboring cabin occupied. We still felt alone and peaceful in the woods. Weekend getaway

Stayed here for two nights as a peaceful getaway from the Christmas hustle and bustle. The lodge was very clean, the furniture and beds were comfy, and the shower water pressure was great! We used the hot tub the second night (it was still coming up to temperature when we checked on it the first day) and the kids loved that amenity. The only (very minor) negative I could find is that if you’re picky about bed pillows, most of them in the house were pretty flat. I sorted through the extras in the closets to find some better options than were put out for us and still slept ok. I would come back!

Excellent cabin in Farmville

We enjoyed our stay immensely at the cabin. Very comfortable, used the jaquzzi nightly and I traveled the High Line trail daily. Overall, great experience and the owner's communication was impeccable. I definitely recommend this cabin for you and your family.

Beautiful cabin with easy access to High Bridge Trail

I ran a race on the High Bridge Trail, and the trail access was perfect to hike the trail before and after the race. The cabin was cute and comfortable, and the hot tub was perfect after running 50K.
