There for 10 nights. 1st night, air con not working. Walked up to reception and was told someone would go up to fix. Nothing done. Go back to reception and then moved to a new cabin..same problem. Moved AGAIN to new cabin. Air con worked fine here however had to move back to original cabin once air con unit had been totally replaced.
No hot water in cabin. Housekeeping done every 4 days. Walked up to reception several times to ask for toilet paper, new towels & rubbish bags for bins. No phones in cabins to contact reception or to order room service however if you order at restaurant/bar and ask them to bring to your cabin, you’ll be charged for “room service”.
There is free/complimentary tropical breakfast for guests who stay longer than 3 nights, as advised by reception. Every 2nd day, I would be told I had to pay for my breakfast and would have to go to reception again to sort it out. Obvious that “rules” changed on whomever was working that day. Some mornings coffee would be part of breakfast and other days, you would be charged for the coffee. No consistency amongst staff.
It was disappointing to see caucasians vs samoan paying guests were treated with far more preference and favouritism.
Wifi only works at reception and restaurant/pool area.
Staff need to be aware that they have Samoan guests who can understand the language. It was embarrassing that staff would be discussing personal issues and talking about other staff members in the open
