This was my favorite stay during my week long vacation in Iceland. The room was beautiful and large. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was top notch. The view from the balcony was lovely. I enjoyed having an unobstructed view of the water. Plus the puffins were only a ten minute drive away. The on site restaurant was delicious, we ate there both nights we stayed. Pizza was real good

The room is spacious for 4 persons with fully equipped kitchenwares. It’s included breakfast too. The location is quite convenient to everything in the city and if you plan to visit where the puffins live, it just drive not more than 10 mins. The staff is so nice, friendly and very helpful since I told her that I’ll arrive the resort by 10 PM at first but the weather was quite bad that day and we drove from very long distance so I ended up arrive later than that. She waited for us and about to email us to ask if we’re doing OK and give many useful info we needed. And the view of the lake and mountain just in front of the house.

This a lovely place to stay complete with restaurant and brewery/distillery. We had a lovely relaxing stay and it is only a few miles from BORGARFJÖRÐUR EYSTRI where you can see lots of puffins up close!

We liked ked it here. Our room was very spacious. Breakfast was not good though. However, we had to drive through very dense fog to get there. We couldn't see the road except for a couple of feet ahead of us, and we had to drive in a mountain with no guard rail. I'm f we had known about the fog, we probably would have chosen to stay someplace else. Hotel itself was great though.

One of our favourite stays in Iceland. Fantastic breakfast (included), good coffee, nice bar, fantastic staff. The room was spacious and we loved our balcony. Stay here! Go on a Puffin Adventure boat tour :)

We had a fabulous stay here. Staff were very friendly. We booked a room with shared bathroom and found it very comfortable. The accommodation was very clean, including the rooms, shared kitchen and shared bathrooms - the best I’ve seen for shared accommodation. Kitchen was equipped with everything you might need - even coffee and basic cooking essentials (salt, oil etc). Breakfast was included and it was fantastic. Lots of home made stuff like bread and jams, even skyr! We really enjoyed the breakfast. It’s only an 8 min drive from where all the puffins hang out (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The only thing to note is that the spa amenities come at an extra cost.

This was an incredible place to stay! The location is top notch and it’s an easy drive to get to see the puffins.The staff and the people are just outstanding - special recognition to Sandra, Nicole, and Jakob. I would definitely stay here again and I will absolutely tell anyone who’s headed to Iceland to see the puffins that this is the place to stay!

My room was very comfortable and it came with an awesome view. Parking was very easy (it was just outsode), there was free wifi, and breakfast was included (it was a good spread actually). Everybody who worked there was very helpful. I would stay there again. Plus it is only an 8 minute drive to see puffins

This resort was the perfect getaway. From the restaurant to the spa and it’s close proximity to the largest puffin colony in Iceland, I highly recommend staying here!

Very nice, spacious room and a nice property. Only major qualm is with the flies- our room had a handful of flies (dead & alive, maybe 40), which are present because of the waterfront location. The main issue was that, while understandingly semi-unavoidable, there were a LOT of dead flies that I feel could have been taken care of by the facility. Understandably maybe couldn’t have gotten rid of all of the flies, but for the number of dead flies in corners & windowsills, I feel like these could have been addressed with an easy vacuum sweep or putting up fly traps. Otherwise, the room was clean & the property was quite nice! Would stay again as long as I went with someone who would battle the flies!

Beautiful place. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was incredible. We got to see the Northern Lights from the window of our room and from the dock by the resort. Very recommended.

There were some bugs when we arrived. They were getting in through some door trim looked to have come undone due to high winds. Overall, we enjoyed this property and the restaurant. Very friendly and they have good gin.
