This house is not a ranch. It is a split level and needs to be advertised as such. I brought two people in their late 70s who have some difficulty with mobility, so finding stairs just inside the front door was disappointing. Overall, the house was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. The backyard could be made more inviting by removing the old boat and creating a fire pit.

Great location for a Holland & Saugatuck vacation

We were travelling with 5 adults and we all had our pwn comfortable space and bed. The house was very well stocked and very clean. It was very quiet and close to Farmers Markets, Holland, & Saugatuck.

The inside of the home is clean and spacious and it is close to Saugatuck, Douglas and Oval Beach. The overall 3 star rating is based on the exterior of the home and maintenance needed. Home and deck need to be power washed and gutters cleaned to help with water overflow and mosquito harboring. Lighting in one bedrooms is dim, a chair back broken and a leak from the refrigerators freezer. All items the host said he will address. Mattresses were average at best, double bed needs to be replaced or a topper added. More furniture in the living room is needed as other reviews identified. John was quick to respond to all my inquiries and even my post trip update. Check in was very easy.

We got together to celebrate our 60th birthdays. The house was clean and comfortable and the owner made himself available if we needed anything. We enjoyed ourselves and the town. I would definitely stay here again.

wonderful

storms the night before and a cold front kept us from our original plans of lounging on the beach but this house and the town of fennville kept us occupied all weekend. there was plenty of room at the house for us to spread out and read our books and a nice big living space to spend time together. a handful of great restaurants in fennville kept our bellies full. we’re already talking about coming back next year.

Saugatuck/Holland weekend getaway

We enjoyed our stay. House was very clean and had lots of space to spread out. Only thing I wished for was a bigger couch or extra chair in living room area for our family of 5. Check in was super easy and instructions for stay were right on the refrigerator. It was a nice location with 15-20 minute drives to Saugatuck and Holland. The neighborhood was peaceful and wish we had more time to spend on the deck outside

Great host

We were enjoying our stay here and unfortunately had to leave early and ended up forgetting our boys bags. Our host John, was gracious and thoughtful enough to go out of his way to have those shipped back to us, as well as refund us for our last night. Couldn't be more thankful for all his help and how effective and prompt all communication was. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lake MI getaway

This house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. Very quiet, secluded neighborhood. We were able to get to South Haven, Saugatuck, and Holland. Overall great stay!

Beautiful home- looks like recently updated- great communicator, was there for my sons wedding and told host a lot of trash due to coolers and left over wedding decor. They took care of it all!! Will definitely stay again
