A beautiful remote getaway

They just opened! We recognize that. The staff has some kinks to work out, they failed at our breakfast orders multiple times, and I still feel like they are finding their rhythm but overall it’s a beautiful lovely place. It’s quite remote which we didn’t realize but absolutely gorgeous when you get out there. Recommend their house drink and the gym. Dare I say prettiest gym view on the planet?

Stayed at the property in August 2025: our suite was underwhelming and not particularly comfortable - the lounge area was just an annex which was dark with no views and just had a sofa, desk and a strange second wardrobe. Given its an old building, the air con (mainly ceiling fans) was insufficient and we struggled in the heat day and night and the room felt dusty. Location is difficult - a long bumpy road which was inconvenient for touring the island and left our hire car very dirty. Staff were generally friendly and helpful during the stay, however we had a bad experience with a boat trip which the hotel had arranged and refused to help resolve us being overcharged. Overall not really worth the money, didn't feel luxurious - better options elsewhere.
