This cabin was just what my husband and I were looking for — restful and peaceful. It’s beautifully decorated with such thoughtful touches, like a sound machine in the loft bedroom. We loved the screened-in porch and the two Great Pyrenees and goats in the barnyard across the way — we made sure to pet them each day! When it came time to leave, we did so reluctantly. And that’s a sign of a wonderful property with lovely hosts like Melissa and Jeff. Thanks to both of them for sharing their beautiful location with us!

The country cabin was awesome ! Peaceful cozy clean cabin with beautiful scenery. The host was great and very informative with everything. Cabin was clean and nicely decorated ! The bed gets 10 stars after traveling 535 miles to get there. Seeing farm life with animals was the best. We really enjoyed our stay here while in Illinois visiting family …

Quiet Country setting

We absolutely loved our stay. It was nice being back on a farm again and waking up to the animals anxiously waiting to be fed. We have always loved those sounds. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature. We would visit again.
