Love the calmness in this area. Enough dining choices, walkable to the busy district. But I enjoyed the peace & quiet in the area. The house is big enough for us 4. Accessible to all that needed to see in the city.

They had a wonderful person waiting for us when we arrived to explain everything. They even let us leave our bags early while they cleaned from the previous tenant. Very comfortable. Bathroom was updated and really nice.

Enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for three people. Only negative was we didn’t find out how to use the elevator until the day before we left, when another resident was using it. Would recommend staying here.

Except for TV, everything works reasonably well but the bed was uncomfortable. Although it has elevator there are about 10 stairs to climb to the unit. Reasonably good and quiet location.

Thank you Mateas and Cesar for staying so late to check us in when our flight was delayed by over 5 hours. It was an anxious time for us during a horrible journey. You kept in communication with us and reassured us throughout our journey. Cesar was waiting at the door for us when we finally arrived and went through the check in efficiently as we were exhausted. The appartment is clean, warm and comfortable, with everything needed for the stay. The area is really convenient for Florence's attractions and has nearby local supermarkets and eateries. The local buses are just around the corner.

We had a lovely stay at Across the River. The apartment is located in a less touristy neighbourhood but still close to the centre, with many nice restaurants and shops nearby. The apartment was clean and fully furnished with everything you may need. It has the old Italian charm, but has been renovated recently including a more modern bathroom. The communication was excellent, with a pleasant reception from the host. Would highly recommend, also for a longer stay!
