The location is perfect, right across the bridge from all the main tourist spots. It is more similar to a BNB. It’s across from the main hotel and the rooms are all on a locked floor and the building is locked. It felt pretty safe and seemed like it used to be an apartment. They do daily house keeping and the main hotel across the way is very helpful. There are no phones in the room which was no problem for us but just an FYI. The room was very spacious and bed comfy. It’s a good spot if you don’t plan to spend much time in the room and is affordable. The only con was the WiFi barely worked. We would stay here again for a quick trip.

I had to leave the Tuscany area a day early. I gave this htel 3 weeks early so they could re-rent the room. They told me it wouldn'tbe possible because I ordered through a website that didn't offer refunds. They told me my only option would be to get a medical excuse but they would evaluate if it was legitimate.I guess they are medical people too. Ridiculous! If you are smart find a different place to stay. There are many lovely places.

Although we were at the Florence Old Bridge we had full access to the Hotel SCALETTA Ponte Vecchio which included breakfast and access to the rooftop area. Parking was not the easiest but the hotel was very helpful with arrangements at a local garage which picked up the car at the hotel and then dropped it at a nearby plaza when we departed.

It is close Ponte Vecchio and other attractions. The bathroom deserved 5 stars. The bedroom deserved 3 stars because the window looks to people’s balconies yet we had to open it for cool air (AC restrictions). This means crappy view, less privacy and more mosquitoes! The worst part was that there’s no phone in the room, the WiFi sucks and you have to cross the street to get services. Yes! I had to cross the street full of people in my pajamas to get a router to boost my WiFi. ALL the amenities are at a partner hotel across the street.

Nice spot, steps from Ponte Vecchio & Boboli Gardens. Bathroom and shower very modern, lots of shower space! Room was ok, across the street from main part of hotel.

Really great value hotel in a great location. So convenient for the city & just near the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Great patisseries / restaurants nearby. Staff extremely helpful, especially Emanuele.

Florence Old Bridge was an easy check in procedure. You had to check in at Hotel La Scaletta. They were very good with communication and accommodating our early arrival. They recommended a parking garage nearby in which you can make reservations ahead of time. It was not a far walk from the historical center. Overall, good experience.

I read the room description before I booked but seeing in person left me a bit disappointed. Room was smaller than I had pictured. Luckily the ceiling was higher so not as claustrophobic as it could've been. Lack of natural night was noticeable. There is a small window opening into a "courtyard" but not enough for my liking. Had trouble using key card to unlock doors even though I heard the buzzer. Lack of coffee maker in room was not good. Room had small fridge which was helpful. Receptionist was very nice upon arrival and the bellboy who showed me to the room was also nice. Just FYI, you do need to check in at hotel across the street. This property is not bad by any means but I personally would choose something else next time

Staff was kind of rude. Also not great that there isn’t a phone to contact staff if you have issues. You have to leave your room go down stairs and cross the street to the main hotel. They key card isn’t all the functional too. You really have to push it into the scanner. Worst of all the bed was super uncomfortable. I’ve slept more comfortably on a plane. That bed was a brick. Oh and no welcome wine like how Expedia mentioned.

This property was overall pretty good, the room was large the bed was massive but there were a few minor details that let it down. The toilet flush wasn't the best, the windows in the bathroom and bedroom were hard to open/close. and the bathroom door was hard to close. I feel like if theses small issues were resolved and there was a smart tv they could probably charge another 30-50 on top of what i paid. And I would have been happy to pay that.

Great place to stay close to everything in Florence and clean with easy access. Only negative was a sliding bathroom door with no roller that was extremely loud when opening or closing in the middle of the night. We would stay there again.
