It said we were good to check in prior to 9pm. But when we showed up at 8:30 everything was locked and we had to wait on the street for an hour and pay 25 euros for a late check in

Things that don't work: -The heating machine needs cleaning and maintenance because it doesn't work and if it turns on it throws out a lot of dust. -The shower drain is blocked so the shower gets flooded. -There is a water leak in the shower and the water goes all the way to the sink. -Not to mention the cleanliness of the bed. -When we arrived there was no hot water and we had to wait a whole day for it to heat up. -If two people go there is not enough hot water for both of them, one has to shower in the morning and the other at night so that the hot water doesn't run out. -The logistics for collecting the keys is horrible. -The kettle doesn't work.

This is a very neat place to stay that we liked overall. However if you have any mobility issues the stairs would be impossible to use. It had a kitchen but no basics like paper towels, pepper etc. AC worked great downstairs but not upstairs. The sofa had a musty smell. Besides this issues it’s a pretty neat apartment.

The managers of this lovely apartment are very responsive, communicating fluently in English, through email and WhatsApp. Helpful with local info. We were met promptly at the arranged time for check in. The apartment itself is very chic adaptation of some very old space, well designed and compact. From this location we walked everywhere we wanted to go on both sides of the Arno. Only downsides were that WiFi didn’t work and sink drains were slow or clogged.
